At Solara Mental Health, we understand how vital quality sleep is to a person’s mental, emotional and physical health. For individuals with mental health disorders, unhealthy sleeping patterns, sleep anxiety, poor quality sleep and lack of sleep can exacerbate symptoms, hinder the healing process and keep a person from finding an overall sense of health and well being.
To help our clients improve the quantity and quality of their sleep, our mental health treatment center offers a sleep hygiene therapy group. In this group, one of our expert clinicians leads the group in discussions about both current medical research on sleep and practical tips for developing healthy sleeping patterns. As clients learn ways to improve their sleep hygiene, they are better equipped to overcome insomnia and sleep anxiety, helping them heal physically, emotionally and mentally.
