In addition to offering mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy (MBSR), Solara Mental Health also offers a mindfulness therapy group. In this group, one of our expert clinicians leads a small group of clients in a variety of practices to promote mindfulness, including visualization and thought-pattern identification exercises. As clients engage in these exercises, they increase their sense of emotional, mental and physical awareness. Through this awareness, clients come to identity maladaptive behaviors of thoughts and behaviors, helping them learn to better regulate their thoughts and feelings, manage anxiety, and handle stressful situations. This process helps clients find both immediate and long-term relief and healing.
