Evan Glenn Sabin
Chef Evan began cooking professionally at age 15, when he attended the Smith Vocational High School for Culinary Arts and worked in a local restaurants through the schools co-operative program.
After high school, Evan attended the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, under master chef Michele Leborgne. Following that, he moved to the U.S Virgin Islands, where he studied and worked under renowned chef, Alexandra Ewald, at the iconic St. John’s restaurant “La Tapa”.
Following several years in the Caribbean, Chef Evan moved to San Diego, where he has cooked in some of the city’s top restaurants including, Kettner Exchange, Bottega Americano, Craft and Commerce, La Valencia, The Evans Hotel group, Cowboy Star, Eco Caters, Abbey Catering, and many more.
Chef Evan utilizes his vast culinary experience and expertise to create unrivaled delicious, nutritious, and beautiful cuisine for the Solara clientele and staff. He can accommodate most dietary restrictions and accommodations.
